Thermospan 200 Sectional Overhead Door

1.
General System Description

Thermospan® 200 provides premium thermal efficiency and low maintenance costs, resulting in a door that costs less to own. Continuous foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation and a non-conductive thermal break between the inner and outer skins combine to provide a U-value of .0.062 and an R-value of 16.16.

Technical Data
  • Door panels consist of polyurethane sandwiched between high strength steel skins. Outer and inner skin is hot dipped galvanized steel.
  • Insulation: Solid polyurethane core adds to insulating efficiency ("R" Value of 16.16 - "U" Value of 0.062).
  • Metal Primer Paint: Pre-Painted (white polyester finish) inner and outer skins for added corrosion resistance.
  • Embossed Pin striping (grooves) on outer skin adds strength and the non-repeating random stucco finish enhances appearance.
  • Two 1 ¾" roll- formed struts per section add rigidity and strength. Each strut is completely filled with foam and finished with copolymer rib caps. This eliminates external fixed stiffeners, which are often used on most conventional steel doors.
  • Hot-Dipped galvanized steel (18-gauge) "wrap-around" end caps offer interior hinge attachment surface and exterior surface to assure proper seal against jambs; Also, hinge locations have 20 gauge steel back up plates for fastening.
  • Tongue and grove joints help prevent air infiltration and saves energy.
  • Tracks, hinge and roller assemblies: heavy duty, hot dipped galvanized hinges and tracks and torsion spring installations are standard.
  • Hardware plates at all fastener points for added durability and life.
  • Adjustable track assures snugly sealed door against opening.
  • Lift Mechanism: Torsion spring on cross head shaft with braided galvanized steel lifting cables. Springs shall be low-stress, oil tempered, and helical wound torsion type on continuous tubular steel shaft.
  • Standard lift, High lift or Vertical Lift tracks with front-mounted torsion springs.
  • Sill weather stripping: Bulb shaped vinyl astragal (bottom seal) provides added protection against air and water infiltration, even when floor is uneven.
  • Operation by Trolley (Jackshaft) operator, 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 or 1 HP single phase (220 V. - 50 Hz.) or three phase (380 V. - 50 Hz.) complete with built-in control panel , push button and motor release for manual operation.
3.
Option
  • One pair of infra-red Safety Photocells.
