Security Rolling Grilles
Rolling grills offer total security and allowing free circulation of air and full visual access to the area being protected.
Curtain:
Curtain is to be fabricated of 5/16" (8 mm) diameter solid horizontal aluminum rods in Mill Finish. The spaces between vertical links are 9" (228.6 mm) and between horizontal links are 2" (50.8 mm).
Bottom Bar:
2 x 3-1/2" (50.8 x 88.9 mm) extruded aluminum tubular section in Mill Finish.
Guides:
Heavy duty extruded aluminum sections in Mill Finish with polypropylene pile runners on both sides of the curtain.
Counterbalance Shaft Assembly:
Barrel: Steel pipe capable of supporting curtain load with maximum deflection of 0.3" per foot (2.5 mm per meter) of door width.
Spring Balance: Oil-tempered, heat-treated steel helical torsion spring assembly designed for proper balance of the grill to ensure that maximum effort to operate will not exceed 25 Ibs (110N).
Brackets:
Fabricated from minimum 3/16" (4.76 mm) steel plate with permanently lubricated ball bearings at rotating support points to support counterbalance shaft assembly and form end closures.
Brackets Finish: Phosphate treatment followed by Light Gray backed-on polyester powder coating, minimum 2.5 mils (0.065 mm) cured film thickness.
Locking:
Cylinder bottom bar locking on each jamb operable from both sides (Coil And Fascia).
Operation:
Cornell Operator Model MGH (SGH) , high starting torque with overload protection (bracket mounted) rated 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, 1 or 2 HP, 230 Volts, Single Phase or 380 Volts (Three Phase), 50 Hz. Complete with totally enclosed motor and factory pre-wired motor controls, solenoid actuated brake, emergency manual chain hoist, and 3-button OPEN/CLOSE/STOP control station.
